Looking Into

warmth of red;
absorbing black;
moist eyes;
and feathery lashes.

draw me close;

Wings ache to fly,
I wait;
For A wind to lift me.

There is the light out,
I wait;
WithIn this Darkness.

It all lies shattered,
I wait;
In these ruins.

I wait,
Frozen In Time;

I wait,
For the wind;

I wait,
Till Time passes by.

Whizzing Lights

Streams of Light whizz by,
They all have a place to be.

I stay still and I watch.
